Facilities

We are located in the brand new engineering building. The building has an area of 200,000 square feet distributed in research labs, offices for graduate students and postdocs, and collaborative spaces.

Our 700 square-foot lab is divided into a dedicated, 450-square-foot, wet-lab space with chemical hood, and a 250 square-foot, dry-lab space for microscopy, electrical, and mechanical characterization.

We have access to UTD core facilities in the Natural Science Research and Engineering Laboratory (NSREL), where we use facilities for microfabrication (cleanroom), and transmission electron microscopy. Through UTD’s NanoTech Institute, we also have access to scanning electron and probe microscopy, and other material characterization techniques.
