Exhibit
As part of a public outreach initiative sponsored by the NSF CAREER Program, we developed an interactive exhibit in collaboration with UTD’s Science and Engineering Education Center (SEEC). The exhibit demonstrates the use of the ionosphere for long-distance radio communications and was placed at libraries in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The main goal of the exhibit was to increase literacy about the Earth’s ionosphere and about the research activities in our lab and at UTD’s W. B. Hanson Center for Space Sciences. The banner below illustrates some of the information provided by the exhibit.
