Lowell Waite presented a talk on Pennsylvanian reefs of the Eastern Shelf to the West Texas Geologic Society in Midland, Texas, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. The talk summarizes some key learnings and ongoing research on Penn reefs at the UTD Permian Basin Research Lab. The talk was attended by approximately 40 people, including famed petrophysicist Dr. George Asquith, Emertius Faculty, Texas Tech University.
