This was a beast of a county to document, due to (1) the numerous Penn reef wells of the eastern arm Horseshoe Atoll; (2) the voluminous number of Permian producing wells (San Andres, Clearfork, etc.) associated with the Middle Permian shelf margin trend; and (3) the emerging Strawn sandstone horizontal play in the SE portion of the county.
