Prestigious Travel Award goes to Jessica!

Jessica Tierney was selected to receive the Larry Cauller Undergraduate Research Travel Award! She will use this award to attend the 2018 Society for Neuroscience conference in San Diego, California from November 3-7.  She will present findings from work on her project titled: “Palmitic Acid induces pain behavior via Toll-like receptor-4 (TLR4) on Sensory Neurons“.

Emily Scarlett was selected to participate in the 2018 Duane and Linda Buhrmester Undergraduate Research Award  program this summer (2018). She will work on her project: “The role of sensory neuron energy sensing in chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy!
