Title: Strategies for Building Interdisciplinary Collaborations To Study Musculoskeletal Pain Across the Lifespan: A T0-T4 Translational Approach

Description: The presenters will address topics related to bidirectional translation of preclinical and clinical data including  validation of a preclinical model of chronic musculoskeletal pain, determining appropriate preclinical models of chronic musculoskeletal pain, selecting and describing methodologies for mechanism-based phenotyping in clinical pain studies to more precisely translate to animal models, and data sharing and interpretation of findings that are useful to clinicians, clinician-scientists, and basic scientists.
