Leading edge research in wireless communication, machine learning, and data security

Our lab engages in foundational research in signal processing & communication with tools from information theory and statistics. We address problems in wireless communications, statistical inference, machine learning, and data security. Our work results in algorithms, circuits, as well as finding fundamental limits.

Our past research in wireless systems has led to key discoveries in cooperative communication, MIMO systems, LDPC codes, and cognitive radios. Our work in wireless communications is on-going and ties together with our newer areas of research in data security (with emphasis on wireless systems) as well as machine learning (with emphasis on graph inference).
