Celia Escabi Au.D.

Celia graduated with her AuD in 2017 from the University of South Florida, where she also obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2013. Celia is a certified and licensed audiologist for the state of Texas and she completed her externship experience at the VA Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. She became a member of the TAP Lab following graduation and acceptance into the PhD program at UT Dallas. Her current research goals include acquiring basic science skills and bridging that together with her clinical experiences. Celia’s primary research interests include pharmacological interventions for hearing loss, adult hearing loss intervention, listening effort, along with the relationship between cognition and hearing. Interest in cognitive decline outcomes with hearing loss led her to also pursue a Masters in Applied Cognitive Neuroscience while working towards her PhD. 

Monica Treviño

Monica is a fourth year AuD and second year PhD student at UT Dallas. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is currently completing her externship year at the Callier Center for Communicative Disorders. Monica joined the TAP lab in 2017 as a second year AuD student, and her experience led her to pursue a PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders in addition to her Doctorate of Audiology.

Andie Zang

Andie Zang is a second year audiology student at UT Dallas and a working towards her PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Mississippi with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Journalism. Andie joined TAP lab in the spring of 2019 during her first year in the audiology program.

Aastha Trehan

Aastha joined the TAP lab in the fall of 2019. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2018. She will begin her AuD/PhD degrees at UT Dallas in the fall of 2020.

Matt Webster
Matthew Webster is a second year Doctor of Audiology student at UT Dallas. Matt graduated from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. He joined the TAP Lab as a first year student and is a Graduate Assistant for Dr. Lobarinas.

Reagan Moody
Reagan Moody is in her second year of a Doctorate in Audiology. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She joined the TAP Lab in Fall of 2018. 

Meredith Thomason
Meredith Thomason is a second year Doctor of Audiology student who joined the lab in 2019. She received a Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in English Literature at the University of Oklahoma.

Spencer Pevahouse
Spencer Pevahouse is a first year Doctor of Audiology student at UT Dallas and she joined the TAP lab in 2019. Spencer graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Business.

Bonnie Ratliff
Bonnie is a senior undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating with her Bachelors of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology in May 2020. She joined the TAP lab in January of 2020 and will continue her work with us while she prepares to enter a graduate program for her Doctorate of Audiology.
