Welcome to the UTD Seismic Imaging & Monitoring Laboratory, we are a group of structure and computational seismologists. Our mission is to develop high-resolution and high-fidelity seismic imaging technologies to
(1) investigate the physical properties and tectonic evolution of the Earth;
(2) investigate crustal response to environmental changes, including groundwater storage, ice sheet melting, flood and drought, etc.
These technologies have been utilized in Structure Seismology, Exploration Seismology and Environmental Seismology.
