Vision

The Renewable Energy and Vehicular Technology (REVT) is an international center of excellence with a focus on the development of reliable, efficient, and compact solutions for generation, harvesting, transmission, distribution, and consumption of electricity.

Mission Statement

REVT strives to educate the next generation of scholars in power electronics, adjustable speed motor drives, and energy systems. Established in 2002, graduates of REVT have pursued this objective by leading research in academia and industry. In addition, REVT focuses on the development of new technologies of regional, national, and international scale. We have been instrumental in tackling the hurdles facing local industries (small and large) over the past and take pride in our commitment to engineering solutions for optimal usage of electricity, superior reliability, and alleviating the dependence on foreign oil and foreign rare-earth metals. We continue to serve the technical needs of the great state of Texas and the nation while fostering international collaboration with our colleagues across the globe.
