In these studies, we are investigating how individuals perceive emotions, process facial expressions, and how they evaluate trust in others. We study the effects of hormone manipulations on trust and values. In this work, we are carrying out neuroimaging measures while individuals have undergone a hormone manipulation that temporarily increases oxytocin or vasopressin levels via intra-nasal synthetic neuropeptide delivery.
