The Infant Learning Project is an academic research laboratory at The University of Texas at Dallas. Our mission is to discover new information about how babies process speech and facial expressions, as well as how babies may remember specific experiences during the first year of life.

Our studies primarily use eye-tracking and/or habituation to evaluate the features of audio, visual, and audiovisual stimuli that most attract infants’ attention. We particularly focus on infant-directed speech and facial expressions.
