Lab Application

We welcome applications from students who have an interest in the work of the Children and Families Lab. As well as relevant academic interests, we look for students who can demonstrate teamwork and good time management. Working in the Children and Families Lab provides invaluable, first-hand research experience, allowing students to gain research credit hours and a foundation in real-world research. In addition, the lab provides the opportunity to connect with other students and faculty with similar interests.

Students can work in a variety of roles such as child assessors, video coders, as well as helping with data collection and technical support. We aim to match the interests and skills of students to the needs of the lab where possible.

If you are interested in helping the Children and Families Lab, we encourage you to apply using the appropriate application below. Once your application has been received, it will be reviewed and you will be invited for a short interview. Once accepted, we expect students to commit to a semester in the lab.
