April 28, 2023: The proposal by Drs. Mona Ghassemi and Rashaunda Henderson to TxACE Collaboration Initiative has been selected for the award ($40,000 for one year)!   

Novel electrical insulation materials and systems will be introduced in this project to address heat transfer issues in 3D heterogeneous microsystems.

October 17, 2022: Our paper titled “Heat Transfer Challenges for MVDC Power Cables Used in Wide Body All Electric Aircraft Under Low Pressures” has been accepted for publication in IEEE Access.


October 10, 2022: Dr. Ghassemi was re-elected as a Member-at-Large of the DEIS Administrative Committee (AdCom) for a 3-year term running from 1st January, 2023 to 31st December, 2025.
