We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Torabifard has been awarded an American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund DNI grant. The ACS PRF supports fundamental research in the petroleum field and will assist our work on modeling environmentally friendly bio-based ionic liquids.
News
The Torabifard Group is excited to have two new students joining our lab: Rahat, a Ph.D. student, and Alex, an undergraduate.
Rahat will be working on developing force fields for deep eutectic solvents and Alex will work on ubiquitination of the H2A nucleosome.
The Torabifard group welcomes new group members, Sahar, Fernando, and Daniel!
Sahar and Daniel are going to work on polarizable force field development for bio-based ILs.
Fernando will study metal transporters.
Join me in welcoming Tejas (2nd year graduate student), Dineli (post-doc), and Andre (High schoolers) to the group!
Tejas will be working on self-assembly and drug delivery of amphiphilic block copolymers.
Dineli will develop polarizable force fields for bio-based ILs.
Andre will develop a machine learning algorithm to study the DNA base flipping into TET2 active site.
