This study investigates hearing and hyperacusis (sound sensitivity) in autistic and non-autistic people. We are looking for autistic and non-autistic young adults (age 18-35 years). We are also looking for people who experience hyperacusis (sound sensitivity) and people who do not. During the study, you will be asked to complete surveys, hearing tests, and listening tasks while we measure the activity in your brain and nervous system using electroencephalography (EEG).
