To address our research questions, we use and combine a variety of methods, such as:
- Development of novel behavioral and fMRI experiments
- Computational modeling and model-based fMRI analysis
- Ecological momentary assessment & self-reported measures
- Hormone data collection
- Longitudinal data analysis with structural equation modeling
- Multimodal neuroimaging analysis
- Task-based fMRI analysis with univariate and multivariate pattern analysis
- Resting-state fMRI analysis and graph theory analysis
- Structural MRI analysis
Broadly, we take two approaches:
- Designing behavioral and fMRI experiments and collecting new data
- Conducting secondary data analysis using open datasets such as Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) dataset
