The Child Language and Cognitive Processes Lab is currently in the process of beginning multiple research projects involving children with and without specific language impairment as well as college aged individuals. The laboratory’s research focuses on working memory, word learning and mental representation of words and sounds.

With a state-of-the-art Event Related Potential (ERP) system, Eyetracking and Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) systems we investigate the neurobiology of learning, memory, and language acquisition in children with and without Specific Language Development.
