Baowen was born and raised in China. She received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Abilene Christian University and a minor in Electrical engineering from the South China University of Technology. In summer 2019, she joined the Balkus lab chemistry graduate student with the research focuses on the synthesis of Metal-organic frameworks in the application of supercapacitors.
