Fully funded Ph.D. positions for Spring / Fall 2025
We are looking for two outstanding and self-motivated Ph.D. students in the Department of Bioengineering at UT Dallas.
About the position:
The doctoral students will work on multiple research projects related to the development of optical coherence tomography (OCT), optical coherence elastography (OCE), and Raman imaging techniques for biomedical and clinical applications. The students will have the opportunity to work closely with clinicians in UT Southwestern Medical Center for translational research.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Optics/Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.

Preference will be given to students with:
- Undergrad/ master’s research training
- Hands-on ability in building optical setup, optical measurement, signal analysis
