Welcome to The Social Communication Lab

The Social Communication Lab is directed by Dr. Pamela Rollins, Professor in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. The lab is located in the Callier Center for Communication Disorders, downtown campus. The lab focuses on understanding the social underpinnings of language and communication in children with typical development and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Current studies focus on aspects of parent-child interactions that facilitate social communication and language and on the efficacy of parent-mediated interventions on the development of social and communication in culturally and economically diverse children with ASD.
