The WAZER Waterjet is out of order at this time. Please use the UTD machine shop for waterjet cutting.
A WAZER waterjet machine can cut a variety of materials but only aluminum can be cut in ECSW 1.160, Project Workshop. There is a waterjet cutter at the UTD machine shop if you like to cut materials other than aluminum.
Please read the technical specifications and the tutorials before asking to use this machine.
Review also the safety pamphlet. In case of an injury, please show this card to your doctor. You may also want to print this pocket card and keep it with you while using the WAZER.
If you need to use this machine, your team is responsible for getting all the correct consumables, using the machine safely, disposing of the used abrasive (garnet), and putting the machine back in the storage configuration.
