Makerbot 3D Printers:
There are two Makerbot Sketch Large in the room for very simple 3D prints.
PLA material can be purchased for the MakerBot.
We have many other 3D printers on campus, which can be used. Please contact Yi Tian (Academic Lab Manager, Yi.Tian@UTDallas.edu) if you like to use the 3D printers for your MECH class project and use the reservation form when your project is approved.
Here are the instructions to use the 3D printers.
The MakerBot slicer calculates the weight for you when you get ready to print. Limiting the size of your print to 15g is required.
