OpenLab @ UT Dallas
Neutral host facility for interoperability of open standards in 5G radio and networking as well as optical transport, right in the heart of the Texas Telecom corridor.
We are a neutral host facility for data networking equipment interoperability validation.
We have the experience, space and staff for multi-vendor interoperability of open and disaggregated network element validation for industry implementation agreements, such as OpenROADM MSA, O-RAN Alliance, Open ZR+ MSA, etc. OpenLab @ UT Dallas also trains the next generation of telecom engineers to be familiar with and successful in an open and disaggregated networking environment.
5G
Interoperability of 5G Open Radio Access Networking (O-RAN), Mobile Network Operator Hub and neutral host facility for the wireless innovation fund Accord project, Interoperability of open radio unit (O-RU), open distributed unit (O-DU) and open centralized unit (O-CU), as well as 5G core.
Optical
Interoperability of OpenROADM Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) compliant equipment (OpenROADM.org) for data and control plane, all network element types (ROADM, xponder, pluggables, etc.), interoperability of OpenZR+ MSA compliant equipment, interoperability of control plane of OpenConfig compliant equipment, enquire about network element types.
