Participate in Contemplative Neuroscience Research

Can brain training enhance focus and relaxation?

Possible Participants

  • Ages 19 and up
  • Not pregnant
  • No diagnosis of color vision deficiency (color blindness)
  • No history or diagnoses of mental health disorders
  • No formal meditative practice
  • Not currently taking antidepressants or other medication for mental health

What Will I be Doing?

Participants engage in 8 weeks of online focus and relaxation training, including at-home training and two, in-person sessions at Center for Brain Health that will include cognitive testing.

Participants are compensated up to $100 in the form of a gift card.

MRi Scanner

Participate in Aging Research

Healthy participants between the ages of 50 and 85 are needed for research on healthy aging and the brain.

Participate in Multiple Sclerosis Research

Get paid to bring us closer to a cure for MS!

Possible Participants

We are looking for:

  • Men and women ages 30-60
  • Healthy individuals or individuals diagnosed with multiple sclerosis

What Will I be Doing?

Participants will undergo a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI)* while performing vision and memory tasks in the scanner. Participants will also be administered tests to measure cognitive and memory capabilities.

Time commitment is 3-4 hours. The fMRI will take place at the Center for BrainHealth. You will be compensated for your time.
