Welcome to our research lab website! Our group investigates the Earth using radar remote sensing techniques. Our research combines geodesy, geology, physics, applied mathematics, signal processing and high-performing computing to investigate:

  • active tectonic, including earthquakes and volcanic processes. These results play important role in developing our understanding of these deep solid earth processes and their associated hazards.
  • near surface and critical zone processes, including groundwater aquifers, induced seismicity, and soil moisture. These studies enable us to better understand how human activities impact the Earth’s surfaces in the era of climate change.
