Hajeri Lab members are involved in several duties which include working with zebrafish husbandry (managing fish stocks, breeding zebrafish, collecting embryos, and raising zebrafish stocks). They are also actively involved in assisting Dr. Hajeri for prepping for and offering professional development workshops for K-12 teachers. All lab members are heavily invested in working with Dr. Hajeri in outreach activities, designing and improving zebrafish curricular materials, optimizing zebrafish protocols, and developing STEM activities.
Hajeri lab members are students taking courses in the Department of Science and Math Education at UT Dallas. Graduate students are majoring in Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree in Science Education and undergraduate students are enrolled in the UTeach Dallas teacher development program.
