Exciting News! The FDT Lab has received a three-year grant from the
National Science Foundation (NSF) to study air-sea interactions (NSF Award # OCE-2319535-6). In collaboration with Dr. Christopher Zappa and Dr. Marco Giometto at Columbia University, Dr. Yousefi will explore the sea-surface drag and momentum/energy exchanges between wind and waves. The research will provide new insights into sea-surface drag with potential applications in the prediction of weather patterns and the development of reliable ocean-based wind turbines.
