For their Final Project ATEC LightSquad Students created a projection mapped installation at the Eisemann Center for Leadership Richardson Arts Day. Leadership Richardson is a part of the Chamber of Commerce for the city of Richardson Texas. It seeks to grow leaders who can cross divides, build bridges and solve complex issues.
For Arts day the students created a Tradeshow presentation that presented the School of Art, Technology and Emerging Communications at the University of Texas at Dallas. (ATEC). “Intentional Future Making” is one of the principles ATEC values. Students created the content, calibrated projectors and managed all aspects of the installation and presentation of the event. It provided students real-world opportunity to apply techniques that they learned in class. The 3d studio emphasizes these types of hands-on field opportunities that extend the studio out into the community.
